The favourite subject on this semester in the university

This semester I had a subject in my programme that I enjoyed, the name of this subject is Clásicos de la comunicación taught by the professor Claudio Salinas, it is a lecture the Wednesday at the 08:30 hours on clock. In this class, I need to read all the text in bibliography, analyzed and comprehend the contents that the authors postulates. In this course, I learned about the communication’s investigation in the century XX, I read the postulates of Adorno, Horkeimer Lazarsfeld, Umberto Eco, Ortega y Gasset, Walter Benjamin. With my classmates, we had studied the principal currents of investigation in communication, the School of Frankfurt, the Mass Communication Research, and we analyzed the beginning of the mass society, the consolidation of the industrial capitalism and how the formation of this process affect to the social communication.

Personally, I like this subject because the content that I learned in this class it was help to develop abilities to research and know the academic method to knowledge. The professor it is a great academic in this area of investigation, is a good teacher and his intention it is that all the classmates learn about the content of the subject that he taught.

My favourite journalism website

The website is a media of communication in journalist research, constantly Ciper Chile publishes investigative reportage about the chilean actuality. The Ciper's reportages has a thorough investigation by journalists, and in the site the Ciper media publishes  opinion columns by reconognized journalists.
I visit this website approx once a week and I like to read some reportage and the news, and my favourite  journalistic writing is the columns. I Iike to read the opinion of the journalist about the social and political items.

A photograf storie

This picture I was took in a raining day on my house. This picture I was took by me a while ago. It was a raining day at my little town, this day it was a hot day but from one moment to another its started to rain and it blow a cool wind, it was a very strange weather and I wanted take a picture with my photograph machine.
The capture its was a dificult exercise because is difficult because it requires a very fast capture speed and choose the accurate moment.

The best movie scene ever: "Dancing Scene" of Pulp Fiction

I am not a great fan of watching movies. I do not watch many movies but the last holidays I was watch a great movie, this film I like too much, it is had a great scene and that particular scene I love it. This film is called Pulp Fiction, and the best scene that I has see in this movie.

I can say that I like too much the cinema style of the Quentin Tarantino’s movies and this scena is an iconic piece of this style.

The scene that I talk is the “Dancing scene” in Pulp Fiction, in there, the protagonist Vincent Vega went to a popular restaurant with the wife of her boss, Mia Wallace, in there restaurant, Mia asks Vincent to dance in the stage of that local. 

Vincent can't say no to the proposal of their boss's wife, and at the sound of the Chuck Berry's song “You never can tell” and both characters get on the dance floor. 

The scene has with the dance skills of the protagonist, played by John Travolta, and the charming character by Uma Thurman.

Favourite: The photographic machine

When I was child my mom had a photographic camera that machine was amazing for me and I dreamed to operate this camera. It was an analog camera and it had use a film of 35 mm. With that camera my mom did take a lot of pictures and captures many moments of my childhood and she saves those images in an album of photos.

The analog camera did keep save in a memories box, my mom did bought an automatic camera and that machine it was much more  easy to operate which camera I am used to take photos of my little sister and all of our pets.

Now, when I started my study programme in the university I was learned the importance of the photograph, which it is much more than simple photo and can be an artist form of expression. I think that artifact is an amazing tool to capture many moments, show other realities and narrate histories.

I wish to become a journalist

In my last post I said that I currently study in a journalism programme. I chose this because I like to write stories about any topic. When I was in secundary school I loved reading and writing so I was very interested to study a law or history programme.
The day that I knew the results of PSU I chose journalism programme in deadline time and I started to study in Santiago. The reason? I think that journalism have more options to work any subjects and matters.

Now in second year of the programme I am very satisfied, here I  am learning a lot of new contents, I am knowing others realities and specially I am learning how to do a written journalism.

About me -little auto biography-.

My last name is Ossandón Rojas. I was born in 1996 one day before  Christmas celebration at the Hospital Regional of Rancagua. I lived 18 years in the little city of Codegua, a small town 80 km away from Santiago, and I currently live in the chilean capital.
I love the life in the capital city, here I study a journalism course. My dream is to be a great journalist and write a lot of books about any topic.
The soccer is my favourite sport,  I play some days in the week with my friends.
I like to read the national press and opinion columns about actuality. I also like to read essays about contents of the university and the best latin american literature.
I love gastronomy, I try to cook every day something tasty. My secret dream is to become a chef, but it is just a dream.
I hope to learn some languages like french or italian.
